Terms & Conditions

This privately owned reference site is not affiliated with a government body, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers FCRA-covered services. The site helps locate Valencia County and New Mexico public-record resources, but it is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Service

Valencia County Released Inmates is a private navigation and reference resource. It stores no official jail, court, corrections, or release records. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, file a request for a visitor, or issue an official document. Links and explanations point toward government sources and third-party research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

By using the site, you agree that you will not:

  • violate a law or another person's legal rights;
  • use information to stalk, threaten, harass, or harm anyone;
  • base hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another FCRA-covered decision on site content;
  • attempt unauthorized access to the site or related systems;
  • run automated scraping, bots, or bulk collection tools;
  • interfere with availability or use by other visitors.

FCRA Use Is Prohibited

The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It provides no consumer reports, credit reports, background checks, or screening service, and neither do its advertising partners through this site. Information may not be used to decide:

  • whether to hire, retain, promote, or dismiss someone;
  • whether to rent or provide housing;
  • creditworthiness, lending terms, or insurance pricing;
  • licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government benefit;
  • any other matter regulated by the FCRA.

Outside Websites

Links may point to Valencia County release records, sheriff or corrections pages, government portals, legal resources, and outside search providers. An outbound link does not endorse the destination. This site does not control another service's content, privacy practices, pricing, availability, or data quality. Read the destination's terms before using it.

No Warranties

The site and its content are supplied “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, free from errors or security defects, or that a partner search will be comprehensive. Custody and public records can change quickly. Nothing here is an official statement by a sheriff, court, jail, corrections department, or government office.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site, its owners, and content partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive loss arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of an outside service.

Your Indemnity Obligation

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its owners harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.

Intellectual Property

Unless a source is identified otherwise, site text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to Valencia County Released Inmates or its content partners. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, or modified without written permission.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version takes effect when posted on this page. Continued use after posting means the revised terms govern later access.

Access May Be Revoked

Access may be suspended, limited, or ended at any time and for any reason, including misuse or risk to the service, without advance notice.

New Mexico Law

New Mexico law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in New Mexico.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
